Santa Rosa Beach

So today has been a great Yoga day so far! I woke up and went to a 9:00 class at balance yoga in Seagrove beach. My teacher's name was Lori and she taught a vinyasa style class. It was exactly what I needed. She played great music and had some nice flows. Then I went and did a pilates class with my mom on a reformer. It was interesting and I got to work my abs but my love is Yoga. After pilates I had a massage and I was extremely relaxed when I walked into the door. However, this is the opening weekend for college football and UGA lost. Consequently,  my household is not too zen right now. I wish we could take this human nature's obsession with competition into a more positive direction. Its inevitable that someone at the end of the night is always going to be upset or disappointed. With Yoga, music, mediation, prayer, running etc, everyone wins!

so heres the deal

I know it is weird for me to blog or even get into this whole internet thing but Im living at home with my parents for the next two years. So I figured this would be a great time to pursue my two passions yoga and nutrition. There is one problem! Im kind of FAT to be a nutritionist! So a big part of this blog will be about my diet and exercise. Right now Im eating about 60-70 percent raw which I love. I feel the best I have ever felt in a long time. Ohhhhh and I quit smoking which helps. Stay tuned because its going to get interesting when that UGA tailgate food starts coming around!

By the way, I went to hot yoga and pilates tonight. It was insane. I thought that I was going to die. Especially in pilates where you do a lot of core work. I felt like the fat kid in class that gets picked last to play kickball. I could not do half the moves. WOW I have a lot of freaking work ahead of me!!!!!!!!!

I guess i should blog now

Im reading this book right now called the Outliers. It says that in order to be an expert on something I have to spend 10,000 hours on it. Well I want to be a expert on yoga and nutrition so I figured out that by the time Im 33 if I do Yoga for 2.8 hours a day I will have clocked in 10,000 hours.........and the story begins
